Shadae Johnson, MHC-I

As a Mental Health Counselor, I am dedicated to creating a safe, compassionate, and collaborative space where clients can feel seen, heard, and supported. I believe that every individual has the capacity for growth, healing, and change. My goal is to walk alongside each client as they navigate life’s challenges and discover their own inner strengths.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy. CBT allows us to identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that may be contributing to emotional distress. Person-Centered Therapy emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and respect for each client’s autonomy. Together, these approaches create a balance between practical tools and individualized experience.

I approach each session with warmth, openness, and curiosity. Whether someone is working through anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, or self-esteem concerns, I strive to meet them where they are without judgment. In addition to helping them move toward their goals with clarity and confidence. I believe therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, and I am committed to tailoring our work to fit each person’s unique needs and preferences.

What drew me to this work is my deep belief in the power of human connection and the courage it takes to ask for support. I feel honored to be able to help others find their footing again. It is a true privilege to be part of a client’s healing journey, and I am genuinely excited to guide and support each person as they move toward a fulfilling and empowered life.
